Allllllll of our many city permits/licenses/docs are complete & approved!

1/21/2025:

We have some minor demo/construction to complete, which began today!!!!

2/5/2025:

Beginning 2/10/2025:

Construction patchwork begins, some walls will be built, and new fire safety exit doors will be installed.

2/15/2025:

​Walls are up, construction continues. We're selling lots of memberships!!

We are chugging right along for our anticipated April Grand Opening!!!!

3/26/2025:

​It's been a while since an update! Construction STILL continues, and we have run into SO many set backs and new safety requirements, creating even more work. We are working through it all of course, but this is all pushing our timeline back

way further than we anticipated or wanted.

Our contractors and construction crew are GREAT and move so efficiently, and we are so grateful for their continued hard/awesome work!! Our electrician was in the space working today and got an approval on all of his work which was hugely great news!

As of today also, we learned that our contractors will be in the space through April for sure, and probably May,

making the realistic opening time frame now in June.

As frustrating as a new opening date is, safety is our number one priority. To our valued members,

we apologize for this new opening date and we thank you for your understanding!​

We have started ordering equipment however, which is super exciting!!!! See our "Attractions" page for a sneak preview into

some of the fun attractions & play equipment we'll have!!

5/7/2025:

Painting is complete!! Next: Electrician's finishing work, install heating element & lights, paint floors, decorate & place equipment/merch!

5/18/2025:

The majority of our fun equipment has landed, and the remaining is on order. 

 

We are just as eager as you are to open, and we thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we’ve navigated the MANY setbacks and have overcome the many monumental obstacles that have landed in our lap. 

 

The newest rule we’ve come into, for safety reasons, is that grippy socks will be required. We will have them for sale for $3/pair, which of course you can hang onto and reuse again and again!

6/6/2025:

Our HVAC contractor will be in the space on Sunday to get our heater gas pipe installed! 

 

Our electrician will be in the space Monday, 6/9, starting his work, and we will have more answers then that we’ll share in terms of how long he’ll be in there.

6/16/2025:

Happy belated Father's Day to all of the awesome dads out there!

We have been in such a stand-still since painting was complete last month, while we awaited word from our contractors, so I am beyond EXCITED to have some news to share. We have just been waiting on contractors to get back in the space to complete their work, so then the city can approve our permit, so then we can install flooring and equipment, ultimately getting us to our Grand Opening!!

Our four latest updates:

1. Funding was beginning to get super tight, albeit we still were trucking forward. But we have secured additional funding to keep us moving full steam ahead!

2. Our HVAC contractor will be in the space tomorrow getting our heating system installed and completing his work.

3. Our General Contractor will have his crew in the space this week to complete their work!

4. Our electrician has us on his schedule for next week to complete his work!

Our contractors will be in the space the rest of June, which means this will no longer be our opening month. After contractors are out of the space, our opening will be in our hands!! We will install flooring and all of the play equipment, as well as decorate, then it will be time for our Grand Opening! Mid-July seems to be the most realistic, but once we know, and after we let our Founding Members know, we will post an update here with our date, as well as on our homepage and Facebook.

6/27/2025:

TO OUR FOUNDING MEMBERS: It's come to my attention that the updates I am emailing to some of our members are landing in spam. Please check your spam and mark us as safe so you're receiving the updates and important exclusive member info!

 

Our general contractor's crew has been back in the space this week buttoning up their work! One of our exterior walls however, does need to be engineered further than it already is, so that will be taking place next week. Once our general contractor knows how to proceed, that wall will be finished as well. They will also be installing trim and crown molding sometime over the next two-weeks, which they said will take about 4-5 days. 

 

Our electrician did not make it into our space last week, and we now have word that he actually won't be in the space until the week of July 7th. Feel free to wail and scream with me! Haha. He is on a big job at another site right now that has become bigger than he anticipated I guess, and he has to finish it out before he can move onto our job. So fingers crossed and all the prayers that July 7th will finally be the time we see our electrician again. He has already begun the work in our space, so it's my understanding that he has to be the one to finish it out. 

 

I'm sure you're all starting to do the math, and realize that mid-July is now out of the question in terms of opening. I wish I had better news. Also with this, I am honestly getting worn out from getting my hopes up, only to be let down, to then have to keep letting you all down. So, I will definitely continue to post updates, however, I am no longer going to keep giving an estimate on what month we'll open. It is too much pressure on me, and an exorbitant amount of stress, especially when this is all out of our control at this stage of the project. Will we open in 2025? Chances still look good. Will it be summer, fall, or winter? That is the unknown.

 

We can't begin to tell you how much we look forward to the day when we get to say CONTRACTORS ARE DONE AND OUR GRAND OPENING IS SET!! Until then, prayers and fingers crossed are still MUCH appreciated!! 

 

Founding Memberships are still available until we open, and will now be made valid for 21 months from our date of open, which means memberships will now extend into 2027!! There are also some special perks we've worked out exclusively for our Founding Members, so if you're a Founding Member and you didn't receive that email, please let us know and we'd be happy to get that info to you!

​7/16/2025:

We are still waiting on our electrician. He didn`t make it last week, and now this is supposed to be his week to come back..

​

Our structural engineer traveled over from Eugene last week and was on-site as scheduled, and the good news is that our crumbling concrete exterior wall is not load bearing!! Our general contractor`s crew is currently here in the space to acquire more photos for her before she can complete her report. Once her report is complete, it will be submitted to our contractor and the city, then our contractor`s crew will be able to complete that repair.

I am still hearing from Members that they are not receiving the email updates. I have contacted our software vendor where I am sending the e-mail blasts from, and am hoping for a fix and answers soon. 7/28/2025:

I hope you're ready for this EXCITING update! Electrician is in the space as I type this!!!! He will be here all week and anticipates he will be done this week! Contractors are also in the space today and all week doing trim! Our engineer will have her report to us by the end of this week, then our contractors will be able to do the exterior wall concrete repair. While they are doing that, we will be inside the space starting our work!!!!!!!! All of this news is beyond exciting, and what a way to start the week! Project is back on track and moving forward, which feels amazing. Once we are in the space doing our work, we will be able to have a better idea on when our Grand Opening will be, and we will announce that here, on our homepage, on FB, and email all of our valued Members of course. Early Fall is what seems the most realistic, and we are praying for September, but we will let you all know as soon as we know! Any prayers and good wishes are appreciated as well :) Thank you all!!

9/8/2025 ~ GRAND OPENING!!!!:

I know it`s been silent on our end for a while, but we were waiting for some exciting things to conclude and move forward before posting an update. ALL contractors will be done this week, and we are putting in for our final inspection on our construction permit, which should also occur this week!!!! We are working with a new, super awesome permit specialist at the city, so we are confident all will go

smoothly with our final. 

We will be starting our work next week! With this, we have determined our projected Grand Opening date!!!! We will FOR SURE be opening Tuesday, November 4th for our members, and Wednesday, November 12th for the general public/non-members. HOWEVER, we will be working FERVENTLY to try and open earlier, sometime in October! Let your friends and family know about our opening date, in case they wanted to take advantage of our Pre-Grand Opening special and become members. Our 21-month membership for $99/kiddo will ONLY be available before we open!
